I don't have cankles.
They are appropriately proportioned to my body.
But, they let me down today.
My body was so tired from my workout yesterday, that I could not pick them up on the treadmill to do my run this morning. I ended up spending a lot of time on the elliptical today which is funny considering I use to be so afraid of it and could only do a few minutes at a time.
Day two was tired. My body was tired. My mind was tired. Going to bed early and am ready for running at 6am.

Bad Food Day
After being here so many weeks, I obviously have my fav foods. And, I also have foods that I don't enjoy as much as others. I could not believe my eyes this morning when I saw the menu board.... all three meals were yucky, icky!!! I had to have alternatives for every meal which is a bummer. The only good thing was dessert... chocolate covered strawberries!!!

Absolutely Exhausted... Day One
Back at Biggest Loser and my first day was absolutely exhausting. I did three cardio workouts, toning class, swimming pool class, lecture on budgeting calories and I am skipping my final class right now as I can not keep my eyes open. I am going to bed and it is 6:41pm.
Food was good today. It is cold here and we had chili with corn bread with a piece of pineapple for dessert.
Yes, this is a fake running picture. I don't look miserable so it can't be real.
I am grateful as I had no problems with my knee, ankle or hip. YEA!

While I was on the treadmill this morning, I really kicked it up a notch when "Dont Do Me Like That" by Tom Petty came on because.... Scab and Willa Aumann did a cover of this over the weekend. Nothing as funny and awesome as a 6 year old singing this song.

Something Funny Happened on the Way to Fat Camp
I don't know whether to laugh, cry or laugh and cry.
The first thing I need to do is buy a new scale.
I will start with the good news. I had a goal when I left Biggest Loser to lose 1 pound per week. I have lost almost 10 pounds so I am ahead of my goal. That is GREAT. AWESOME. I should be really proud of myself. But... you ask yourself, didn't Victoria say she lost almost 20 pounds? Well, I thought that I did.
It all started when I landed from Australia and I weighed myself on my sister's scale. It said I was way over. I then had Paula weigh herself, Scab weigh himself and then just to be sure, he weighed himself holding Erma! I still didn't believe it so I waited until I arrived last night and it is true... the AUS scale is totally wrong! (Pookeys - put it in the budget!! We need a new scale!!)
So, instead of freaking out, I am just going to be happy that I have surpassed my goals and I am doing good work. I am going to concentrate on the positive of being here this week and losing more weight.

Back to Fat Camp
Tomorrow I am back to Biggest Loser and I am nervous again. Not so much about my weight but about being able to give it a go.
I have to do the math but my goal is to lose 5 pounds/2.27 kgs in the week. And, figure out how I am going to be good for the rest of December!

Lost a wee bit more
Lost another .6lbs/.3kg this week. That makes a total of 43.7lbs/19.9kg.
Yes... 19.9kg. All I needed was another .1kg to make it to 20. So close.
It will be very interesting to see what the scales say at Biggest Loser on Sunday. Yes - it is already time to go back there! It has all gone so quickly. But first I have to make it half way across the world and survive Thanksgiving.

What was I thinking?
I baked 9 pumpkin pies today for work and for presents for some of my friends who love the Thanksgiving tradition.
What was I thinking? That I am not going to have a piece or 12?
My goal is to NOT have a piece at work tomorrow because I will be having a piece at Thanksgiving with my family on Thursday. That is my treat.
They look so good.
I seriously don't know what I was thinking!
I could eat a whole one right now.

Shake 'em you won't break 'em
I know you can't pick where you lose your weight but I have got to stop losing it in the girls. It is getting ridiculous. I can't hold up any of my dresses. I can't hold up any of my bras!
This is going to leave me with only one asset and we have all heard my "I've got pretty eyes" joke.

7/11 is the devil!
I stopped for some gas on my way home from work and I was feeling peckish.
I went in to pay for my gas and was attacked by candy bars, potato chips and every single type of food I can not eat.
They get you when you are weak!
The good news is that I wasn't really craving it and my health club is next door which made me think - how many minutes on a treadmill to eat this crap? TOO MANY!

12 Weeks in a Row
It is difficult to give yourself credit sometimes, but I am really proud of myself. I have lost weight 12 weeks in a row. While 5 of those weeks were at BL, 7 of those were on my own.
Even with my crappy hip.
Even with the races.
Even with the weddings.
This week I lost another 1.1 pounds/.5kg.

She's Running, She's Running
I got back on the C25K program and I couldn't remember my start pace so I went to 9km/hr. And, I couldn't keep up the pace. That is the bad news.
The good news is that my bursa on my hip stayed in place or uninflammed or whatever it does so it doesn't cause me pain.
Tomorrow morning, I will do the C25k at an 8km pace. I think that is a 37.5 to complete the 5k which I could TOTALLY live with. But could someone who did not go to Lombardi Jr High School do the math for me because I honestly can't figure it out.

The Body Whisperer
I ellipticaled two days in a row and my hip is ok. So, no more excuses. I am back to my normal schedule. I have 11 days left before I go back to the States so lets get on it!
Actually, my Osteopath (nicknamed The Body Whisperer because he was the only one to fix my knee) said I should try and run on it. So, I think on Sunday I will try and go back to the couch to 5k.

I love stealing!
Tonight I downloaded a ton of new music for the ipod to start getting ready for Biggest Loser #2. This included The Runaways for my angry music fix and lots of dance music as Pookey and I have been listening to JOY in the mornings on the way to work. We pretend the car is a disco and dance, dance, dance.
My biggest treat was that the Breaking Dawn Part 1 album was just released!!! Happy Days!

get healthy bitches!
I am going Nazi on my lazy ass this week.
Step one is that I am tracking every single calorie in MFP. For those of you on MFP, yell at me if you dont see every day closed out.
Also, we have the GET HEALTHY BITCHES board at our house. This will be in our face and is located in the kitchen.

Is it cheating if I lose weight?
My gym time this week was lacking due to my bursitis in my hip and I had three race days so I knew it wasn't going to be a great weigh-in this week. In between I did fine, but it is hard to judge the calories of all the nibbles and bits.
And you know that I would FREAK OUT if I gained weight because I am still a slave to the numbers.
So, I skipped my dinner last night in hopes that it would take the edge off on the scale and... it worked!
I weighed in .1kg less than last week which is a quarter of a pound.
Considering my massive weight loss last week, I think this is huge because it means I kept the 5kg/10lbs off.
So I eeeeeeked by with a loss. This week I am going to track like a banshee!

David Milne gave me 1TB of music to add to my ipod and the classic punk rock album of all time - Never Mind the Bollocks was on it. I downloaded it immediately. It doesn't get any angrier! It is going to take me right back to 8th grade.
Of course, I am still not running because of the hip but I want to get back on the elliptical over the next few days.
ps - JR is still alive and living in Los Angeles.
