Monday Motivation
One of the best things about Utah is that it really takes you out of your comfort zone. You don't know what you're capable of until you challenge yourself. And I don't like change. Most of us don't. So instead I stay with excuses. I need to get out of those excuses and into the zone!!!!!!!!!

bye bye summer!
We have had the absolutely best summer - the weather has been perfect and sunny and warm and gorgeous! But we drop to the 60s this week and the leaves are falling. If I didnt have a good summer, how am I going to have a good winter?????
What is my goal? To look the best for my 50th that I have as an adult. That means getting to 216 as a minimum. That is 40 pounds in less than 5 months! Now, I know I can do it. I have a long weekend coming up. I have a possible month in Utah. But that does mean I need to be focused the other weeks.
I really need to not use the weather as an excuse. I did take Sugar out for a walk today (leaves falling!!!!) knowing it was going to rain. So that is good. Weather is not an excuse!

working my calories
I'm trying to use my LoseIt app for better planning. Now, you know I can't go to the movies without a choc top, so I did two things. One, I saved enough calories for the choc top and two, I also did a big walk around the tan for the extra bit.
I then scanned my top and did not have popcorn. Just say no to TWO movie treats. :)

Sunday Weigh In
Ok...I don't know when banana splits for dinner became a healthy option, but that is what happened while I was in NZ for holiday. And...I am down. Is that good or does that enforce bad behavior? Well, I am back on healthy, so hopefully I can capitalize on this. I am feeling positive.

Anyone want to be an accountability partner?
I have been using LoseIt app instead of My Fitness Pal as it is just a better app. Today I actually signed up for the paid service which is $3/month. (THERE IS A $0 option that I have been using for three months so there is a free option.)
If anyone is out there that would consider using the app, LoseIt reminded me of this today....
