More stretching, less yoga

I have a long weekend due to the Grand Final football game so I am going to take advantage by having an extra workout day!!!!!!

Tomorrow I am trying Hot Yin and follow it up with a walk around the Tan.

Just say no to coffee treats

Is it any wonder why I have a treat when it is so hard to fight temptation! EVERY coffee shop in Melbourne has a crazy treat area.  So, even if I am good 90% of the time, I would be having treats all the time.

No wonder the Rock is so pretty!

I was reading an article on cravings today and once again, I need to drink more water and get more sleep!!!!  Always the same information!  Maybe one day I will actually listen!!!!!!

They commented in the article that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hadn't eaten candy since 1989.  WHAT?!?!?!?
So, I googled this fact and it is true!



He hadn't eaten any sweets for 27 years!  Earlier this year, Johnson told his 55.9million Instagram followers he hadn’t eaten sweets since he ate a pack of Twizzlers in a cinema in 1989. 

He recently broke his own rule while on the Tonight Show and had some candy.
I can not imagine NOT having sweets.
It is inconceivable!

It is so difficult to build muscle!

I was really proud of myself while on holiday. I went to the gym almost every day possible and every other day I did strength training. I really kept my routine going.

And then....

I come back to Australia and for the next month precede to do nothing!

This week I am back with my training and was doing push ups. I BARELY got 3 out on the low bar. I asked Anita, my trainer, what I was doing before break and she said 10.

Only a few weeks off and you just lose so much strength.
There is no rest for the wicked.

247.2 isn't what I was hoping for, but I had a naughty week.


It just makes losing the 10 pounds more dramatic as now I need to lose 12 pounds!!! ;)
I did yoga and the tan yesterday.
Today I walked the beach.
Last night I did not drink at the party.

LBD alert!!!!

I do have exciting news but I am not allowed to post it on any type of social media until the press release comes out on Thursday. So, the only thing I am saying is I need a fancy cocktail dress and my beautiful dress that I have only worn once is way too tight!!!!!!

You can't tell from the picture but the movement on this dress is fabulous!  I really want to wear it. I weight 235 in this pic so I have one month to be able to fit!!!!!


I tried it on and it is waaaaayyyyy too tight.



I now have it hanging in my bathroom - as a constant reminder....FIT IN TO THIS DRESS!!!!!!!!!
Four weeks to lose 10 pounds is doable.
Grrrr........

You can't be half a gangster

I met Andrew for a burger tonight. I ended up with a glass of Mumm and a burger. :)  At least I cheat in style!!!!!

The good news is that when I was full, I stopped eating. In the past, I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER leave fries or burger on my plate. And today I did.

Up again...I have completely conquered breakfasts.  So, this week I am going to concentrate on lunches.  One step at a time.  I dug out all my old fat camp books and looked up recipes.  My go to is going to be hummus, veg and pita.  Every day if necessary.

Racing season has begun!!!!

Pookey and I started race season today.  I did not have anything to drink - no champagne! And, I only had one small bite of sweets.   I can go to the races and be good, but I need to be on top of it because there are 8 more race days to go!

To prepare, I did start to do a little run this morning. For every block, I would walk half of a block and then run half a block.  My knees are sore, but it was good to get a bit of a sweat going.
