Pookey and I started race season today. I did not have anything to drink - no champagne! And, I only had one small bite of sweets. I can go to the races and be good, but I need to be on top of it because there are 8 more race days to go!
To prepare, I did start to do a little run this morning. For every block, I would walk half of a block and then run half a block. My knees are sore, but it was good to get a bit of a sweat going.
