It is all lies!
I read this today -
REVOLUTIONARY THOUGHT: Would you believe me if I were to tell you that there WILL come a time when you won't miss the sugary, fatty, salty things you once thought you couldn't do without, or that leaving the sleep in to get up and exercise occasionally, will be not a chore, but something you just DO?
It's just not true! Almost two years without McDonalds and I would have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner tomorrow if I could! I would have fatty, salty Mexican with margaritas. I would have dessert anytime I wanted...this idea of six weeks to break a habit is garbage.

I don't do it very often but, we were downloading some pictures from work so I checked out images to see what would come up. There are rows and rows of my book, a picture of my sister and about 8 rowns down, there is a picture of mumma and I on the treadmills in Vegas. GO MUMMA! Go me!

Doggy Do
I have a new responsibility for a month. My roommate is on holiday and I am fully in charge of Sugar Avery Victoria Chamberline. This wouldn't be a big deal but since we live in a mid-rise, I can't just open a door and let her out. I have to take her on a walk several times a day which is messing with my workout schedule. That is another half hour every time I could be working out. If only she wasn't so darn cute!

I'm on a mission
I have put up inspirational posters, reminders and schedules all over the apartment. I have a very strong goal to be at my new thinnest when I leave for the States next month. My first week in I lost 1.4 lbs [.64kg] which is exactly where I need to be.

Losing weight saves money
When I originally bought my personal insurance in Australia I was given a rate plus an additional loading for being overweight. I just got my increase for the year and it was so expensive as each year it goes up for your age. So, I shopped around and my insurance is over $200 LESS per month because I have a new policy and at my new weight...NO OVERWEIGHT LOADING!
What should I buy with the extra money?!?!?!!?!?

BE careful
Today I wore my Polar while doing treading on the elliptical for 40 minutes.
My Fitness Pal listed 40 minutes on the elliptical as 605 calories.
My Polar listed it as 330! Big difference!

There was a sale on Chobani
Greek yogurt is the absolute PERFECT snack food. It is a protein, carb and a fat. And the Chobani's are so good! They are a little high in sugar but that is the fruit. 150 calories will keep you full. Penny told me to get them all as they are so yummy, even the flavors you don't normally eat. So, today I bought Joel and I every flavor and put them in the fridge at work. I rate them as follows:
Passionfruit (It is like a dessert! SOOOOOOOOOO good)
Apple Cinnamon
Mango Peach
Strawberry
Pineapple
I still haven't tried honey, blueberry, blood orange, lemon, or rasberry.

Another new class
Tim took me to Body Pump tonight - this is weight lifting to music. It hit all the major muscle groups and went pretty fast. Let's see if I can lift my arms tomorrow!

Callahan Mothers Day Fun Run
I joined the Callahan family this morning for a run around Jells Park. Everyone contributed money for cancer research and had a bit of tea afterwards.
I won the medal for fastest runner.
Yes...I was the only runner.

Wearing the Polar
I ran for 10 minutes straight out and did rowing machine for 10 minutes for a quick workout this morning and...burned 140 calories! So, if I am going to work off 500 calories a day, I'm going to get into work at 11am!

Another goal accomplished!
Today I tried a bikram yoga class which was one of my goals for 2013. Bikram in the hot yoga class. It is the same exact class everywhere. It runs for 90 minutes and has the same series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. It is done in a room which is 105* [40.6] with a humidity of 40%.
It was really hard but I liked it. I did have to stop many times, but so did most people so it was no big deal.
1 - It was a great stretch after having run in the morning.
2 - Usually yoga hurts my feet, but since these poses are so quick, I felt fine during and after.
3 - I am going to wear my heart monitor next time. My heart was going like crazy! I couldn't believe that stretching was having that type of effect on my me.

It takes so long to build up endurance

Get out of my rut
I thought it would be weak to try some new programs but Miss K is starting the Michelle Bridges 12 week body transformation and I think I am going to as well. While my workouts have been good, I need something to push a little harder and help me get back on track with the diet. And her program is lots of exercise and 1200 a day!
