I thought I was skinny for a minute
They have a new scale here at fat camp and it gives you this complex reading when you are done. It gives you weight, lean body mass, body fat mass, body water balance, obesity analysis and then a segmental lean analysis.
When I read it, I thought "WOW! I am doing pretty good!" But then they taught me how to read it and I realised I am exactly where I thought I was. DARN!!!!

Who knew?
I had a personal training session today and discovered that everything I do is wrong when it comes to running. Who knew there was so many ways to run poorly? My hands were wrong, my arms were wrong and my stride is wrong.
I am sure that once I fix all of this, I will be on a 4 minute mile.

Today's food and other tidbits
For those of you watching what you are eating - here is an idea of what my menu was today:
Brekkie - choc/pb smoothie
Lunch - cup of veggie soup, chicken tostada
Snack - small apple, 3 celery sticks, 1 tbsp peanut butter
Dinner - 3 lettuce leaf, chicken cups with pineapple salsa
Dessert - 2 choc covered strawberries
It was all REALLY good and came in at about 1300 calories.
As for today's exercise, I can tell I am going to be sore. Too many situps/core exercises. I concentrate so much on cardio that I don't do any weights at home. I have to start doing weights!!!!!
Inspiration?
Hanging on my door upon arrival - "You can feel sore tomorrow or you can feel sorry tomorrow. You choose! Do the work!"
I'm tired already
And I haven't done anything yet! On the winter schedule, the hikes don't start until 8am so everything seems a bit slower in January.
But, I LOVED brekkie. There is now a breakfast menu of choices so I felt like I was at a real restaurant. I had the peanut butter and chocolate smoothie with a side of scrambled egg. 291 calories.

I'm back!
First day back at fat camp. Here are my goals for the next two weeks:
1 - walk stop sign 8 times
2 - do one cardio class on the rower machine
3 - have a private training session to learn better running techniques
