I am feeling great about my weight. Yes...it is up one pound but I am trending down and that is what I care about. VERY HAPPY to be 262.8. I'll be happier when I hit 259! Back in the 250s before I leave for my holiday.

Movie treats
I am suppose to only have either a choc top OR a popcorn when I go to the movies. But what I have been doing is skipping dinner and having both. Even when the quality of choc top is subpar (Astor) I still need to always do a choc top. Best choc top is The Sun.
On this night I also had a diet Pepsi. I have been drinking a pop every once in awhile. That is unacceptable. If my nieces can give up pop, I can do it too. And it is gross and terrible for you. I must keep on the water!

Smile!
I just read a great article which I completely believe - smiling can boost your athletic performance. Everytime someone screams encouragement at me during a race I laugh and I am sure it takes my run up a level. Or at least, it makes me hate it a little less. :)

I love breakfast for dinner
I know I keep writing this but I do. And brekkie is so much lower calorie than a big meal. Maybe that is what I just do for the rest of winter? How many eggs can I eat in a day? Can I eat four eggs a day? Is that bad? Heather says everyone struggles towards the end of the day - but maybe this can be my treat?

Running club is tonight
I still have not made one yet. Sunday's run was great - only 4km but I was rewarded with a double rainbow. I am behind on KMs and I need to get some more runs in. My 10k is in about 6 or 7 weeks!!!!

PARTY!
My goals I set up with Heather for the corporate party were:
- eat before I go so I dont eat too much crap
- drink water instead of alcohol
I did really well.
- I didn't eat before I left but I was so busy talking that I ate three or four pieces of chicken - like nothing
- I had a few glasses of water all night. No alcohol.

total sloth
I have not run or done any exercise in 8 days. After a long weekend when I had 72 hours to choose when to run, I chose to not do anything. I just could not motivate myself at all. And, forget the 7km, I couldn't do 1km!
The weather was PERFECT!
I don't know what happened. I just couldn't do it.
I was a sloth.
I still am.
Sloth - Sloths are arboreal mammals noted for slowness of movement and for spending most of their lives hanging upside down in the trees of the tropical rainforests of South America and Central America.
The sloth is so named because of its very low metabolism and deliberate movements, sloth being related to the word slow. This is an evolutionary adaptation to their low-energy diet of leaves, and to avoid detection by predatory hawks and cats who hunt by sight. Sloths are almost helpless on the ground but are able to swim.

Wednesday Run Club
Last week was sooooooooooo cold and rainy that I just could not go for a run.
Penny was sick.
Of course, Tim went.
How does he do that? I don't know.
So today I am traveling and will be on a plane to Sydney during run club. I am in SYD until the end of the week. I VOW I will get a run in.
And on a separate note, I now have decided to have a "rainy night" play list. So, here is the first entry. Any other suggestions?

Running update
I have two weeks to hit 7km and BAM....done.
The super interesting thing is the farther I am running, the quicker I am getting?
My last km was my fastest.
I ran the full last km.
I think the only thing keeping me from getting faster and back to where I was a few years ago is my weight. It is difficult to move 250 pounds for any length.
Now I have two weeks to take it easy :) before I have to hit 8km!

Sunday Weigh In
I am going to say that I am *happy* that I am up .2 to 264.8 this week because -
1 - that is basically staying the same if I am not getting crazy about it
2 - I want to stay under 265 at all costs.
So that is my win.
My GOODS this week were:
- had a great talk with Heather the weight coach
- immersed myself in a new strategy for tracking
I am not listing my bads because that does not do anything that is useful.
While this week will be difficult as I travel, I am going to start having more social time for breakfast and lunches and less dinners. It is difficult to have healthy dinner choices when my willpower is at its weakest.
Bring on next Sunday!
