At fat camp, one of the big eye openers is that I am pretty measured in any activity that I do and then all at once, you are doing 4-8 hours of exercise a day. Walking, running, lifting....everything. I just don't challenge myself every day.
Particularly, I am being very kind to my knees.
I am at 1km a week ish. I did the Tan last week at 4km
Well Ant asked me if I wanted to walk home last week and I thought, sure - that will put me at 5km.
With the construction on St Kilda Rd and the Ant's poor sense of direction, we did about 8km. That was a good walk.
I was excited to arrive home!
It was a reminder that one day a week to try and push my heart rate without doing damage to my knees is possible! I can do it!
