No matter how great an opportunity Movara is (and it is amazing to take 3.5 weeks off and put yourself first) there is no way you can do this program day after day and not burn out. It is just difficult to get up and do the same workouts everyday.
This morning was one of those mornings. I simply could not get up and do my hike. I was tired and just plain crabby. Also, I have pulled a muscle while in treading yesterday while running. YES! I ran! It felt great but I am all or nothing so of course, I started running a 10 minute mile which is CRAZY fast for me. So, after not running for 2 years, I started running at an insane pace for me and pulled a muscle. Annoying. (Good news - is my knees are FINE today. Not great. But FINE.)
I had a delicious breakfast:
- half of a chocolate PB smoothie
- 1/2 cup egg mixture
- 2 pieces turkey bacon
- 2 tbs avocado
This really perked me up.
I got in the car and went to Snow Canyon for a walk. Not up to stop sign but for a good walk and got energised. On it!
