Meet Heather

My sister has introduced me to Half Size Me.  It is a blog that helps guide you through weight loss and I am enjoying it.  Lots of practical ideas.

Heather, the blogger, also offers coaching so I am seeing what that is about as accountability has always helped me.

For the week, I have a daily goal which I need to email to her.
Wake up and consider "what can I do today to move me towards my goal" and email her

What can I control right now?????
I think it is a great question.
Today it is that I can have a healthy breakfast and lunch and both are planned.

Usain Bolt is my twinsie

I am watching the documentary, I Am Bolt and Usain and I have the same problem.  We both have a difficult time staying motivated.  :)
To do what he does is such a huge committment.  And he is telling his friends in the scene below that you have to work for your goals.  And it is true. And I need to remember this.
It doesn't have to be awful or hard.
I just need to work for it.
And I know I can do it.

Its difficult to admit defeat

I finally had to go and buy size 20 dresses because I was holding onto all my smaller dresses and they didn't fit well.  I went into my closet this weekend and sent over two dozen dresses to Goodwill. It was so difficult.  I just kept telling myself that I will get new dresses when I get back down to a good size but there were beautiful.  Gone.  There were a few that I couldn't get rid of yet, but maybe I'll do another clean out in a few weeks.

3.5 weeks at fat camp.
5 nights partying in Mexico.
5 nights partying in Vegas.
4 nights of bday in NYC.

Todays weigh in - 258.2


I left Australia at 259.9 and I am currently at 258.2 after one month of terrible fat camp and then one month of eating crap and no exercise.
Its a draw.
