I'm not making excuses, but I am just saying...it is difficult to do the 30 Day Ab Challenge when every time you get on the ground to do the exercises, your dog climbs up on your tummy. And she does. Everytime.
How am I doing on the challenge. Good but definitely not perfect.
The idea is that everyday you start small and progressively add to your workout. Day one is 15 situps, 5 crunches, 5 leglifts and 10 seconds of plank. So, my idea was that I would do Day 1 workout for week one. Day 2 workout for week two....etc. If I keep going, it will take me 24 weeks, but at the end, I would be doing:
125 situps
200 crunches
65 leg raises
120 second plank.... EVERY DAY! Wouldn't that be amazing?
Well, after doing it only one day, I got very sick and stopped last week. Normally, I would just wait until next month and start again, but this month I just picked up where I left off. I love it! Who cares if there are some blank days? I am still in week 1 but my tummy is feeling it. I just need to remember I don't need to be perfect, just keep practicing.
Boo hoo. I gave up. It was just too ridiculously hard to be increasing the sets by that amount EACH DAY. I like your idea of doing Day 1 for a week, then Day 2 for a week etc. Maybe I'll try that ...
