Interesting thought for the week. It is not the intensity of your workout but the habit of working out itself when it comes to long term changes. I completely agree with that. Obviously, a strong workout has immediate effects on calorie burn and changing your body. But, it is the consistency of working out over the long period that makes the positive change in your life.
I have got out of the workout habit and am getting back in. Twenty minutes every morning plus gym time with my trainer.
