Sunday Weigh In

Is it possible to GAIN four pounds in a week? The answer is YES! I have done it. I believe it is the terrible combination of absolute out of control eating, no exercise and hormones. EEEKKKK!!!! The good news is that it was hopefully a kick in the pants for me and I had a very good day.
Also, my knee felt better this morning but in general, I can't wait to hear what the doctor has to say tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

EXCUSES!!!
This knee is killing me. I had the MRI on Monday. I am going to the doctor on Monday to hear the results. I'm icing and trying to keep the pressure off. But instead of being better with my calories, I am being WORSE! Both today and yesterday I ate until I was gross gross full.

Well, there is some postive news about this 2 year plateau.... :)
I was out of control this week. Not sure if it is the weather, my knee or just over it but I ate and ate and ate. And, I didn't gain anything. Same weight.

The dreaded Torn Miniscus
About 8 years ago I tore the miniscus in my right leg and it took 3 years for it to be ok. Well, I am pretty sure I have torn the left knee. I go in for a MRI on Monday. I did ask my doctor if I could keep running and she said yes as long as I can stand the pain. So, I am just going to keep exercising through the pain.

I have to remember that this is not perfection, it is practice. And, yes, this will all pay off. And keep looking at my before pictures - even though I havent lost weight in over a year, I am still 50 pounds less than when I started!

Scheduled exercise
When I am struggling to get my exercise in, the best way to get it going is to plan time with my friends so for the long weekend, I have scheduled:
Saturday - run the Tan with my running group
Sunday - do the Tan hills with Tim & Penny
Monday - run the Tan with Steve
Now, I know I'll hit my exercise goals for the weekend. I am so much more positive when I do this. So, why don't I do it all the time?
I need to get into some weekly routines and classes. It is a great way to catch up with people and also ensure I get my gym time done. Ian has invited me to 6am Tan run on Friday mornings but that seems extreme. :) Because the other thing I have been reading is the importance of sleep in weight loss. This should be the EASIEST thing to do and I still struggle.

Back to VIrgin
I was just about to skip out on my workout AGAIN but ended up going to the Virgin gym with Andrew. I was really glad I went not only to get my workout in but also to remind me that I do need a CBD outlet. But I think I'll join Hyatt instead. Nicer locker rooms. :)
