parkrun

I know I have talked about the parkrun before specifically when I was trying to get my 5ks done.  But as a way to motivate, I will walk one each week before I leave for Utah.  So, if you are so inclined, come and join me on a Saturday morning.  I'll be going all over Victoria to walk on a Saturday morning.

parkrun was started in the UK by some people who wanted to do a free 5k every week.  It is now world wide.  Australia has a ton of parkrun options.  parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and we encourage people of every ability to take part; from walkers or those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; we welcome you all.

Who has one of these things?

Doesn't this look delicious?  It is pasta with pesto but it is pasta made of zucchini.  I know this is a huge fad at the moment but it looks lovely.  YUMMO.  Does anyone have anyone of these?  I am trying not to buy junk/stuff that sits in the kitchen.  But if I will use it, I want one.

Down another 1.6 pounds.  Yea me.  Feeling good.  About to leave the apartment and go for another walk.  Success definitely encourages good changes.
